Biography:

a refugee from Mlawa, with wife and daughter in the Warsaw ghetto; they crossed to the "Aryan side" in 1941, Jerzy Sliwczynski helped them. Makowski hid working as a nurse in the Evangelical Hospital in Elektoralna Street. He committed suicide. His family died in the Warsaw Uprising in Zelazna Street.
