On 20-21 April 1943 they hid in a bunker at Walowa Street No. 2. They got out from there when the ceiling fell down and fire got inside. Several dozen of people fought for access to the only exit. Several managed to escape, later the burning basement staircase ceiling fell down and the rest died.
