he completed 4 grades of junior high school, comes from a lower middle-class progressive family; in 1940 he joined Jewish scouts (as Arie in Tel Amal from Haszomer Hacair). He worked with his brother on the work detail Ostbahn, maintaing parents by smuggling. In the uprising he was in Szmul Melon's combat unit. 4 June he went through sewers to the Polish district - expedition in order to establish contacts with the undergound failed, caught by Germans, tortured and seriously wounded after firing squad execution Lebensold went back to the group at Nalewki Street No. 27; died in a combat on 3 July 1943
