In 1941 it was decided that the Polish Workers' Party (PPR) was going to be set up in Poland, so he was sent to Poland along with other activist. The PPR was soon set up and it delegated him to the ghetto to create PPR units and especially GL units. Killed by the Gestapo in 1942.
