Director of a children's hospital. A paediatrician. In the Warsaw ghetto she collaborated with the Centos (the Central Organisation for Orphan Care). She was a member of the Organisational Research Committee in the ghetto. In a book written in the ghetto, which contained the results of medical research on the influence of starvation on a human being, she wrote the chapter concerning the influence of starvation on children. She died.
