  • Na tajnych kompletach na przełomie 1939 i 40 zorganizowanych przez Lynga i Halberstadt-Arkinową uczyło się 27 uczniów. Dzieci uczyły się 3 godz. dziennie w mieszkaniach nauczycieli. Komplet był płatny miesięcznie, uczęszczały dzieci z bogatych domów i 3 bezpłatnych z podwórka. Później uczniowie przeszli na tajne komplety do b. gim. "Spójnia". Szkoła wydawała w getcie matury, świadectwa, miała pieczątki, druki itp. Nauczyciele byli dobrze opłacani. Gimnazjum Kaleckiej dawało matury w latach 1939/40, 1940/41 i 1941/42. Bywały wypadki, że uczennice zdawały na tajnych kompletach w gim. polskim im. Królowej Jadwigi. Jedna uczennica z kompletów Kaleckiej zdała po polskiej stronie maturę, bo wątpiła, czy ta z getta zostanie uznana po wojnie. Na maturach w getcie zawsze była obecna przedwojenna dyrektorka gimnazjum - Zofia Ringmanowa.
