Janina and the other children are hiding in the cellar. She is afraid and feels exactly like during her last night in the ghetto. What will happen to her? The Ukrainians have surrounded the house. Suddenly there is a loud explosion. A Ukrainian bursts into the cellar. Janina prays, she thinks that this is it. But the Ukrainian says that they are here to keep them safe and he is sorry for the noise. In the end he says-'Goodnight children, sleep well'. Everyone is to stunned to reply.
